Two weeks ago, I was driving home from Youth Group. While driving that 20 minute drive, I started to tell God how worried I was about raising my support, and how scared and panicked I was over raising the $2,000 for the plane ticket. I had a nightmare the night before about not getting the money in time, and was very distraught over the whole thing. As I was telling God this, He spoke to me. He said, "Andrew, don't you know that I own the economy. I own all the money in the world, plus more. I own everything. Don't you realize that even if you didn't lift one more finger in working for your trip, that I could supply all your needs for the trip? Don't you think I have the power to supply you with what you need?"

The reason I am posting this is that I think, even now, it is not for only me, but for all of you. Don't you know who owns the cattle on a thousand hills??? Don't you know who owns the stalk market. All we have, all our friends, family and supporters have is Gods in the first place! If He has really called you towards going on this trip, HE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!!! If He calls someone to support towards your fund raising... they will do so. Tell God how you feel. Trust Christ with the support you need. HE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!!!! Sometimes He puts us through these things to show us how much we need HIM above all else. He is testing us so we will trust Him more. Isn't signing up for a trip like this to Africa a step of faith? We need to realize that we are not doing this by our strength... but by God's strength working though us!!!

"do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." Philippians 4:6-7

With thanksgiving for what Christ has given to you, tell Him your needs, and He will not let you down!!!
