I was born and raised in a Christian home in North Carolina. I'm the
oldest of three. My brother is 19 and just joined the army (!!). And my
baby sister is 13 and not really a baby at all. My parents recently
adopted a 9 year old girl (domestic adoption)...it's a long story that
I would rather tell in person! I was active in my church all through
middle & high school, but didn't start running hard after Christ
until college. I did some crazy stuff at first but by grace God opened
my eyes to how much better He is than all the other things I was
depending on. He has taught me some very difficult lessons in the past
few years and I am still learning who He is and what it means to love
and follow Him. I started attending and leading Bible Studies on
campus, and then I went to East Asia in the summer of 2006 with Campus
Crusade for Christ. God used that trip to open my eyes to the fact that
He is a global God, and ever since has been growing a passion for
international missions in me. I graduated in December from Queens
University in Charlotte, NC with a music degree and have spent the last
6 months or so trying to figure out what I am going to do with my
life!! I'm excited about the possibility of spending a few months
overseas... I LOVE to travel, read, play and listen to music, and do
stuff outdoors. :)
