1. WEll… HMMMM… Something interesting…
   I Am the oldest of four boys!!!And i guess I am SUPER!!! EXCITED!!

2. Hmm…Something about myself. Well, my name is Bethany but I abosolutley cannot stand to be called that. I go by Beth, unless you’re my family, who refuses to call me that. 🙂 There are people in my college-aged group at church that I’ve known for three years that still don’t know my real name isn’t Beth.

   Also, my dad is a former paster so I was a p.k. for several years and I have known since about the age of twelve that I was called to be a missionary.

3. I love doing cartwheels! I guess that’s it, haha.

   hmmm.. something unique eh? I’m kind of a gum addict.
   it’s a problem I’m going to try to overcome before we venture to africa. =)

   just a side note: I’m really excited about getting to know all of you! I’ll be praying for you guys. =)

5. well it is quite unique that i am the only guy on this team so far haha. I am positive that God will use us all to spread the hope of Christs return and his love for all of us! I am super excited about working with u all and seeing what God will do with us when we totally surrender everything in South Africa and while we prepare for it.

6. There are so many strange things about me i don’t know which one to share with you all…
   Well one weird thing i love to do is in the spring and summer, or whenever the tempertature is over 65 degrees, i will play beach volleyball with my friends for 6 plus hours a day. Sometimes we go until 2 or 3 am just playing and having fun. Then there are the papers due the next day that i have to worry about…hehe Yaaaay college :0)

7. Hey Everyone!

   I was just wondering where all of you are from. I know that some posted their hometowns in their bios, but others didn’t. So… if you see this comment, it would be cool to hear all the different places that our team has come from =]

8. Hey Alene… great question. Way to keep the conversation rolling! I am from Little Rock, Arkansas. Yeeeah, the jury is still out regarding rather or not I have a southern accent. =)

9. HOLLER! alrighty I live in Allen Texas it’s right outside of Dallas, but I’m from Louisiana.

   something unique about me…hmmmm..oh okokok have a mole right between my eyebrows and people always ask me if I’m Hindu or Buddhist, but then it opens the doors to tell them I’m not, but that I’m a Christian. Goes to show God work in really strange ways haha.

   do ya’ll have facebook or myspace? nerdy i know haha

10. Hey ALL…sorry i have been out of commission, but i am back and hopefully am getting the hang of this blogging stuff!! I am from all over, however, my parents live in Maryland now, so i guess that answers your question. I live in Davidsonville, but it is really close to Annapolis…where the U.S Naval Academy is and all!! It’s really neat up there. I also am in Newport News, Virginia (near Va Beach) where i go to school!! But yea…

    And Brittany i do have myspace and facebook, but im never on myspace but i ocasionally get on facebook. We should start an Africa Group so that we all can easily write on there too if we want :0) I can help if you want…just let me know!!

    I think the Africa Group on Facebook is a really cool idea. I’m on there. I also have myspace but I mostly use it to keep up with Christian bands.

    Oh and I’m from Knoxville, Tn. I’ve been told by some people from the north that I don’t have an accent, while a few have said I do. I don’t think I do but I am aware that I have certain words that come out pretty southern.

12. Africa group on Facebook is a wonderful idea!!! I think i might just go do that right now…

13. HEYYY! I just created a facebook group. It’s called “Africa Awakening 2008-2009!” So, please join… it will be a great way for us to all remain in contact in addition to through this site. =]

14. I love that you guys are taking advantage of this blog and facebook to get to know each other. I am so excited for all of you. If you have any questions about your trip or africa I would love to answer them. You will be spending your first semester in Jeffrey’s Bay where I did FYM last year. So if you have any questions about it or anything. I would love to talk about it.

15. hmmm…. something interesting about myself… how about this: I say the word crunk all the time!!! for example… Africa is gonna crunk!!!

    or how about this: i am a mac nerd! im not a fan of a pc!!

    and this is probably the most important of all: I love the office!!! its the best show ever! so while all of you lost fans are watching ur show on ur free day… i will be watching the office!!

17. Nicole, that’s absolutely amazing that you say “crunk”!! Ok if I start saying it with you in Africa?

    And I will be watching The Office with you!!! See, I used to have a face but The Office rocked it off..lol..tho, I still love The Office.

20. something interesting about myself…….ummm……i played football in high school, that was fun, oooh, and i love playing jokes on people. i actually just got back from playing a trick on someone. i snuck into the boys cabin at this kids camp i work at, and i bought this cheap stinky aftershave, and i poured it in his covers, and then i put his mattress on the roof! yay, im excited. oh, i didnt just do it cause im mean, im getting him back for pouring water on me multiple times.

22. Hey guys!…something interesting about me?..well i don’t know if it’s really that interesting but this is my fourth summer of lifeguarding..and i love it…i’ve got terrible tan lines though. i have an X at the top of my back and an O at the bottom 🙂 it’s kinda weird..oh and i LOVE to swim!
