meet Fred Flinstone or Yogi Bear?

  1. Let’s consider the facts here…. Fred Flinstone…. was just GIVEN fame…GIVEN a great cartoon. He didn’t have to prove anything.

Yogi Bear…he was just a poor SUPPORTING actor in the huckleberry hound show…he was SOOO great that hannah barbera thought…”MAN!! we should give this guy his own show”

…and on top of that…he achieved SUCH greatness that they thought “MAN!!! let’s have him do a cameo on the flinstones”….

THEN they thought “let’s give him his own featured film”…

He started with nothing…but his greatness spoke for itself and allowed him to rise into cartoon infamy…
y do u think there have been:
    3 video games
    Did 4 cameos
7 spin offs of Yogi Bear show
    Mentioned in 8 other cartoons
over 70 parks named after him
86 comic book issues from SIX different COMICS!!!

And he achieved this with only 11 months of his own show and only 33 episodes….TRUE GREATNESS!!!!!!

  2. Davie won me over I’m going to have to go with Yogi, and how fun would it be to go steal picknick baskets with him…not that I’m into to stealing (I mean its one of the ten commandments) or anything just to get the ranger angry I’d make Yogi put all of them back afterwards…really I would;)

  3. okay for real people come on…. YO-YO-YO-YOGIIIIIIIIII talk to me talk to me talk to me BABY!!!!!!!! (A Goofy Movie reference) 🙂

  4. I wasn’t even going to comment until i saw how little love Fred was getting.

Come on guys. Fred works hard all day and is a respectable Water Buffalo. Yogi is a common thief (and glutton!).

You’ve all got some wires crossed…and Fred, you can come over for dinner any time. Tell Wilma I know the perfect babysitter.

  5. Sydney, my thoughts exactly.
    Fred would drive me nuts.
Yogi chills, has better style, loves food, and has a way way better voice.
    Check Yes for Yogi Bear.

  6. hmmm… Fred honestly.. check out what he’s wearing it takes a true man to pull off whatever animal skin cover that is. Plus he is always wearing a tie, all business till you get him in the bowling alley! I could learn a thing or two from him. ohh did I mention Dino!! I loveeee him.

And the anger.. come on give the guy a break he has a foot powered car for heavens sake.. I believe I would be a little cranky after doing that too.

  7. I have to say I hardly have any idea who these two cartoons are. I have seen the flinstones maybe twice about 15 years ago and didn’t even know yogi bear was on tv.
