Hi! I'm Jessica Gourley, I currently live in Arlington, TX with 5 of
the most amazing ladies I've ever met. I am 23 years old, & thank
the Lord, moved out of my parents house for the first time in November.
I currently work at Starbucks, and a small steak house. I moved out to
Texas last February from the tiny town of Sonora, Ca. I was born and
raised in Sonora. Its like that country song... born and raised, loved
and lost, had good times and bad, I found Jesus in that small town. As
a child my family went to church, but never really got involved w/ one congregation until I was in third grade. We joined Calvary Chapel
Sonora and instantly became active members. I helped in children's
church, went to youth camps, and loved Jesus. In 7th grade I was
baptized, and became part of the church leadership that lasted all
throughout high school. Unfortunately, after high school I decided it
was my turn to take over. My second year out of high school I took a
religions of the world class, and became Tao, Hindu, and Buddhist. I
struggled a lot, and lost my relationships that I had built w/ my
church family. The past four years have been an up hill battle, denying
God all the way and making way too many bad decisions. Praise the Lord,
in September He brought someone in my life and changed me forever.
Steven helped me put my trust in the Lord again, and I rededicated my
life to Jesus. My lovely ladies I live with, sing with, play at parks
with, and praise the Lord with, I am friends with thanks to God
bringing Steven in to my life. I tend to be a bit silly sometimes,
laughing with friends is one of my favorites. Geocashing, playing at
the park, bible study at our house, are some of the things I enjoy the
most. OH! And my family, I would be nothing without them. I love all of
them so so much and would not have made it though my hard times with
out their love and prayers. I guess thats me, in a bigger nutshell than
